Khaya brings over 25 years of expertise in reputation and crisis communication across both public and private sectors. He has held senior roles at Bidvest, eThekwini Municipality, Metropolitan, and Old Mutual. Most recently, he served as Head of Business Development and Stakeholder Management at Harith, a R20 billion pan-African infrastructure investor, and as Head of Communications for the R2 trillion Government Employees Pension Fund (GEPF), where he led transformative communication strategies and enhanced organisational reputation.
He holds a National Diploma in Journalism (DUT), a BTech in Public Relations Management (CPUT), a Postgraduate Diploma in Public & Development Management (Wits), and completed the Programme for Management Development at GIBS. This strong blend of education and experience makes him a trusted advisor for organisations navigating complex communication landscapes.
